A five-star hotel cannot find someone to sell the Bentleys and other supercars to its soaring guests.
The position of super sports car chauffeur at the luxury hotel Gotham in Manchester remains vacant.
Hotel managers posted for the job weeks ago but cannot find a suitable candidate and the position remains vacant, Manchester Evening News reports.
It is more important than ever for the hotel to recruit a driver after becoming the northern flagship of Auto Vivendi, the world’s largest supercar club with private members.
The club plans to officially open in Manchester in July, with Hotel Gotham becoming its partner venue in the city center.

As part of the connection, the hotel will host five of the club’s supercars that members can rent as part of their membership package.
The plush fleet includes a Bugatti, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Aston Martin.
Hotel manager Mario Ovsenjak said it had become increasingly difficult to recruit as the hospitality industry was facing a personnel crisis.
The concierge / chauffeur post was advertised again on the hotel’s social media accounts due to a lack of interest.
Mr. Ovsenjak said: “A year ago we had 200 applicants when we advertised a position, now we are lucky if we get 20. It’s a problem across the industry.
“It has to be someone who can drive our Bentley and high-end cars like the Ferrari confidently and comfortably with a clean driver’s license.
“We are looking for someone with experience in a luxury 5-star hotel environment.

“And above all, it has to be someone with a lot of personality to work at the Hotel Gotham.”
The salary for the role is “experience-dependent”
