The wedding location’s popularity is booming after a change changes the couple’s photos

A Liverpool city center wedding venue has skyrocketed in popularity during the pandemic as couples were able to use a nearby change to transform their wedding photos.

Liverpool Council said the number of weddings at Liverpool Town Hall on Water Street had been booming in recent months, with more than 40 weddings held there in July.

Many couples have postponed weddings due to the pandemic, some multiple times, but with the restrictions lifted, it is hoped that more couples will be able to tie the knot over the summer.

In a recent report to city councils, the council said that town halls, like St.

With City Hall overlooking Castle Street, couples can now use the pedestrian mall and pose freely for photos near City Hall.

Couples have also found the venue an excellent location for a wedding-only ceremony as they can then head to their nearby reception location.

In a report to councilors, council officials said: “While weddings at St.

“This venue has certainly found its specialty and a range of wedding packages are now available to suit all budgets. With the pedestrian zone on Castle Street, this is even more suitable for ceremonies where the guests can then walk to their further venue – with great photos! “

There are now no legal restrictions on the number of people who can attend weddings and social distancing, and face coverings are no longer technically required.
