Vicky Kaushal recalls friends bragging about new cars while taking buses, Samantha asks about “that college group”

actor Vicky Kaushal listed the two things that worried him as an actor. The first was hired as a supporting actor after making a few acclaimed appearances, and the second came early in his career before achieving success.

In an appearance on Film Companion’s Best Performing of the Year retrospective, Vicky Kaushal spoke about rethinking his decision to become an actor as his friends settled down in life and bought cars and houses. He said that when he was 25-26 years old and his engineering friends bought their first car and house, he waited for the 33 bus that would “take him to Aram Nagar for audition”. That was when he started questioning himself and wondering if he had made the right decision because the college groups were full of pictures of cars. When Samantha Ruth Prabhu asked with a wink about the mood in the college group now, he laughed and said it was called “good in the hood”.

When Vicky’s female co-panelists Sanya Malhotra, Taapsee Pannu, and Samantha said they were often offered inconspicuous characters, he was asked if he was also offered to play the heroine’s friend. Vicky said that he made films like Raazi and Manmarziyaan that he didn’t star in, but he chose to do these films because he liked the scripts. However, he pointed out the only concern he had after both performances were praised. He said that he was aware that after Raazi and Sanju he was not included in the supporting actor category. After the two films, he decided to make films where he had more responsibility on his shoulders.

Vicky streamlined his comments and continued, “I never got a launch, I never had a choice. Manmarziyaan was the first film I didn’t have to audition for. Sanju, Raazi, I had to audition for every film. So it wasn’t my choice, it was the film’s decision to include me. “

Vicky said in the interview that he is most looking forward to playing legendary soldier Sam Manekshaw in an upcoming biopic that will reunite him with Raazi director Meghna Gulzar. He didn’t talk about his Wedding with Katrina Kaifwhich is expected to take place on December 9th in Rajasthan.
