Vin Diesel leads Paul Walker’s daughter to the altar at the wedding

Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel led Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow Walker to the altar this week. Both her father’s boyfriend and Jordan Brewster attended the ceremony. Walker married Louis Thornton-Allan and the two look very happy in the Instagram video the model posted. Diesel is her godfather and has assumed a stable presence in her life after the tragic death of her father years ago. She also directs the Paul Walker Foundation. Despite only playing one family on screen, the show’s co-stars made it a goal to be around for big moments like this. Her father died in that spinning accident in 2013 and it must be comforting to have Diesel on hand to do the honors this week.

There have been some rumors that Meadow has joined the saga, and in an interview with E! the series star did not want to close this idea. “I wouldn’t count anything,” said Diesel. “Just leave me – without telling you all the secrets of Fast 10. Let’s just say nothing is excluded. ”

Cody Walker previously praised F9 in a conversation with TMZ for continuing to pay tribute to his brother. “I think Vin and the whole family did a good job of tastefully letting the character ride off into the sunset. I think Paul would get a real kick out of where it went. It’s gotten so crazy. It’s a wild, wild ride at this point, “explained Cody Walker. “I can’t speculate what he would think, I just know that Vin is always very serious about keeping Paul’s legacy in mind and has always done a really good job paying tribute to his character. They worked together and were brothers for years. ” . They were all so young when this thing started. “He added,” I keep running into people who say, ‘Your brother is the reason I love cars,’ to whom I say, ‘Me too’.

“When the tragedy struck in 2013, we stopped filming Furious 7 for about five months because we were thinking about what we were going to do while we were grieving,” Diesel told E !. “And the studio accepted a bold decision that was to have the character exist in our mythology.” He continued, “And for that purpose alone you have to honor it. On a personal level, we started this franchise together. Next to us we founded a brotherhood. Our brotherhood will outlast the franchise.”
