Beth Cooper and Chris Thorning, the love birds from Win a Dream Wedding, headed to Westcountry Wedding Cars to partake in some of its glamorous offerings.
The family-run company has existed since 1996 and has made a very good name for itself for quality, service and reliability. The business spans an extremely large area, traveling through Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and sometimes beyond.
The company even had the privilege of having kings in their vehicles, which means the family pride themselves on everything being just perfect.

The professionally trained, uniformed chauffeurs drive the luxurious cars that take the bride and her group to the wedding location, wait if necessary, and then bring them to reception if necessary. There will be photos along the way and maybe a few chilled, bubbly ones.
Future bride Beth Cooper wrote in her diary after visiting Westcountry Wedding Cars, saying:
On such a miserable rainy day, we soon woke up when we arrived at Westcountry Wedding Cars in Plympton.
We were warmly welcomed by Andrew, one of the owners of this family run business. I had called Elaine, Andrew’s wife, a few times before our meeting and she was so helpful that that day she went over the cars and times and we discussed who would travel in the cars and what our best options would be.
It was nice to talk to Andrew and find out a little more about the company. He told us that Westcountry Wedding Cars started 20 years ago.

Back then they only had half a dozen cars, including Hummers, stretch limousines, and vintage cars. They moved to Plymouth and over the years the cars have grown and changed a lot.
You can see the wide range on their website, including classic cars, sports and sedans, and even party buses !. The cars are used for all kinds of events including weddings and proms or birthdays etc.
Surrounded by many very nice cars, Andrew showed us a nice ivory-colored classic car, it was breathtaking. We sat in the car to get a feel for what Elsie was particularly excited about.

It was very luxurious with lovely cream colored leather seats and interiors and you can see why so many brides love to come to their wedding in one of these. You really feel like a princess getting into a carriage. It just adds to the fairytale feeling, what a lovely way to arrive on one of those special days you are about to have.
We chose the Bramwith, a beautiful car that is very similar to the car we sat in, but larger and can accommodate up to seven people. That’s why me and my bridesmaids are all going to get here together and we’re so excited. The drive from Plymouth to St. Mellion will be just perfect.

The two, who both work at Derriford Hospital, were told beforehand and separately that they could never have children – but then a miracle happened and now they have their little daughter Elsie, who is 19 months old.
The spectacular prize consists of a wedding for 45 day guests and 65 evening guests in beautiful St. Mellion in Cornwall.
