It is not uncommon for an extremely low mileage car to be put up for sale years after it was made. In some unusual cases, they may not even be registered. But what is really bizarre is that a whole bunch of five cars that were never registered come back up for sale. And even more so when it comes to five unique examples of the Bentley Mulsanne Grand Sedan, a car that had to be specially ordered from the company.
And yet Bentley Emirates offers just that. The Bentley company has said the five stretched Mulsannes were supplied but never used or registered. It’s not entirely clear if they were ordered by one person, five people, or maybe even the dealer. We have asked for details and will update if we have any clarification. However, it is incredible that such cars are ordered and never used. Although the price was never disclosed, they couldn’t have been cheap. Can you imagine spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on something and never using that thing?
Anyway, here’s a quick refresher on the Mulsanne Grand Sedan. Bentley said the first cars were built in 2015 and the model made its public debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Obviously, the most noticeable part of the car was its length, a little over a meter longer than a standard Mulsanne, even a large machine. Overall height also increased by three inches. This created space for an additional set of rear-facing seats behind the fronts. The partition behind the front seats has electrochromic glass for privacy. A bottle cooler, champagne flutes, a drinks cabinet and mugs are included, and there are fold-out tables on which the glasses can be placed.
One of the five cars is pictured above in the same Silver Frost over Moroccan Blue paintwork as the Geneva show car. The other four each have their own color schemes: Damson over Black Crystal, Onyx over Candy Red, Rubino Red over Light Gazelle, and a plain Black Sapphire. So you have options.
The price for these cars was not disclosed. But you sure can’t afford one if you have to ask. While the cars are for sale in the United Arab Emirates, the dealer delivers anywhere in the world.
