A parking lot in Reading city center is said to be closed over Christmas Day and Boxing Day after an “accident”.
The incident occurred on Christmas Eve, December 24th, at the entrance to the Broad Street Mall parking lot.
The affected vehicle will probably not be recovered until Monday, December 27th, the car park will remain closed until then.

A Reading City Council spokesman said: “The Broad Street Mall parking lot is currently closed due to a vehicle accident on the driveway yesterday.
“It is unlikely to be postponed until Monday December 27th and we will let you know when the car park opens again. Alternative parking spaces are available in the Queen’s Road multi-storey car park.”
