Glasgow police officers rushed to the hospital after a police car was involved in a traffic accident

TWO police officers were hospitalized after their police car was involved in a traffic accident on Christmas Eve.

The officers were in their patrol car when it was involved in the demolition of the Broomielaw on the King George V Bridge in Glasgow.

The incident, which also involved a Hyundai, happened around 8:30 p.m. on Friday evening.

The two officers were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital to receive treatment for their injuries.

The Hyundai driver didn’t need any treatment

One of the policemen was released and the other remained in the hospital.

His condition has been described as stable.

The Scottish Police have since opened an investigation into the crash and their investigations are ongoing.
