ITV Good Morning Britain: Katie Price Reveals Lifelong Engagement After A “Traumatic” Car Accident “Shamed” Her

Katie Price has announced her new lifelong commitment after a serious car accident last year.

The ex-glamor model was convicted last month of driving with disqualification, driving without insurance, and driving unfit for alcohol.

She was spared from prison and was instead given a 16-week suspended sentence after the crash in September.

This morning (Tuesday January 4th) Katie performed on Good Morning Britain.

She was on the show with her eldest son, Harvey, to talk about the book she wrote about the couple.

In addition to talking about the book, Katie was asked about the crash by host Susanna Reid.

Susanna asked: “You managed to avoid a prison sentence, it could have turned out very differently, right?”

Although Katie said she wasn’t ready to go into the details of the crash just yet, she responded to the host’s question.

“You could have done it,” Katie said, “and the events that led up to it were really traumatic and it’s still traumatic so I’m not ready to talk about it just yet.”

However, Katie announced that she has been getting help since the accident.

She also told the show that she was committed to her health for a lifetime.

She continued, “What I can say is that I obviously went to the priory and finally made the decision to see a therapist every week, forever, to deal with the traumatic events that led me to that car.

“I’m very good at hiding things.”

Although she only brought up the subject, Katie promised that one day she will reveal the truth about what happened, what she is ashamed of.

“But when I’m ready to talk about it, I’ll talk about it,” she said.

“There are reasons why I got in this car and my mental state.

“But yeah, when I’m ready to talk about it, I’ll talk about it. I’m ashamed of all of this.”
