A young family is heartbroken after their newborn’s stroller is stolen outside their townhouse.
Tia Yallop, 22, and her partner Louis were preparing to take their son Arlo for a walk on New Years Day when they discovered their Volkswagen Polo had been smashed on Rouen Road.
Without the stroller, the family had to cancel plans and struggled with tiny Arlo.
“It’s almost like stealing a wheelchair from a disabled person. It’s disgusting, ”said Ms. Yallop.
“The stroller was expensive. It’s the last thing we need, especially at this time of year.
“It was our baby’s safety net and the ability to get around.”

The thieves took the contents of the vehicle, which contained a stroller, baby car mirror and Xbox, themselves before emptying Arlo’s diaper bag and dumping the unwanted clothing back into the trunk of the car.
“They were kind enough, if you can call it that, to leave us Arlo’s clothes,” she added.
Ms. Yallop called the police but said she was “left in the lurch by the lack of support”.
“They didn’t reassure me at all. They just said there wasn’t enough CCTV footage,” she said.
“As a young woman with a newborn baby, I didn’t feel safe knowing that someone had broken into my car.
“It may feel like something small, but it’s everything to us,” she said.
A police spokeswoman confirmed that several items were taken from the car and asked everyone with information to report.
“A dark gray Oyster 3 stroller, Xbox 360, baby bottle sterilizer, perfume and baby viewing mirror were stolen from a VW Polo in Norwich.
“The incident happened between Wednesday, April 29th.
“The suspect gained access to the unlocked car and stole the items from the trunk.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about the stolen property or the whereabouts of the stolen property should contact the Norfolk Police Op Solve team at 101, using crime number 36/309/22.”
