An overturned car is causing huge congestion on the M42 in Warwickshire this morning.
One lane was closed on the southbound carriageway at J10, for the A5 Watling Street (Tamworth), while highways officers dealt with the incident this morning.
The closure resulted in queues that are currently about nine miles long as rush-hour commuters set about their journeys.

All lanes reopened shortly after 7am, but travel time through that stretch was still said to be around 40 minutes.
Elsewhere across the region, one lane is closed on the M1 in Northamptonshire due to a crash.
Travel site Inrix is reporting slow traffic in the area.
The crash involved a lorry and a car and happened on the M1 southbound between Junction 17 for the M45 to Dunchurch and Coventry and Junction 16 for the A4500 to Daventry.
Lane one of four is closed.
