Some necessary changes have been made to the Oakwell parking lot operations at the request of emergency services.
The entrance to Beevor Court is now a designated emergency meeting point, which means it is closed to all fans, vehicles and pedestrians on home match day.
How is this change affecting you?
Hospitality members (with parking lot in the east stand):
All supporters with a company parking permit must enter and exit the East Grandstand car park on Grove Street. Admission is via the main entrance at the top of the driveway.
Due to the expected increase in traffic jams when leaving the stadium, fans in the hospitality car park Osttribüne are recommended to wait up to 30 minutes after the final whistle in their lounge so that the traffic can be cleared. The barrier is raised 30 minutes after the final whistle so that vehicles can pass from the east stand to the south stand.
Parking on the south stand:
In order to compensate for the additional traffic, a temporary suspension of paid parking has been introduced in the Südtribüne car park. This means that only persons with a season parking pass, a single match pass or persons named on a club list are allowed access.
As you exit Oakwell, you will have normal access to both Grove Street and Pontefract Road. No traffic is permitted in the parking lot of the east stand to exit via the Beevor Court. As soon as all traffic on the south stand has been cleared, the parking barrier in the east stand will be lifted.
Pay on the day:
The option to pay for parking spaces outside the south stand has been temporarily suspended. Only those who have booked in advance have access to the parking spaces in the east / south stands.
Please note that stewards will be set up around Beevor Court and Pontefract Road to direct supporters to alternative access routes, both by car and on foot.
We thank all supporters for their patience and understanding in this matter.
