Seven people were killed in a car accident in the Koramangala region of Bengaluru in the early morning hours of Tuesday, reports the ANI news agency on the Adugodi police station.

Evacuated “more than 123,000 people from Afghanistan: US Secretary of Defense”
In a statement, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said the US has removed about 6,000 Americans and “evacuated more than 123,000 people from Afghanistan – the vast majority of whom are Afghans, friends and allies.”

The US will continue to provide humanitarian aid to the Afghan people, not through the government, but through independent organizations such as UN agencies and NGOs. We do not expect these efforts to be hindered by either the Taliban or anyone, said US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in a statement marking the end of the longest American war.

The United States completed its withdrawal from Afghanistan late Monday, ending America’s longest war, and closing a chapter in military history likely to be remembered for colossal mistakes, unfulfilled promises, and a desperate final withdrawal that killed more than 180 Afghans and 13 US soldiers killed members, some barely older than the war.
