A man left cuts and bruises on his face following a racially motivated attack in Gloucester city center.
He was attacked by two men who beat him and left him for hospital treatment.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning (August 28) when the victim was walking home from a nightclub when a vehicle stopped and two men got out and beat him several times.

The victim had a disagreement with the men on the night and believes he was attacked because of his ethnicity.
A statement from Gloucestershire Constabulary said: “The police are asking for information following an allegedly racially aggravated attack in Gloucester over the weekend.

“The victim had a disagreement with the men earlier that night and believes he was attacked because of his ethnicity.
“The attack occurred around 3am on the corner of Black Dog Way and Worcester Street. The victim was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and treated for bruises and cuts on the face.
“The perpetrators were described as a man who wore a blue shirt, had short blond hair with a beard, and was around 30 or 40 years old, and a man in a black shirt that had a chin strap, a receding hairline and was in Age 20 or 30 years.
“The investigators are currently conducting CCTV investigations but are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to please contact us.
“Information can be submitted using the online form, stating Incident 72 on August 28th.
“Alternatively, you can call 101 and provide the same incident number.”
