A would-be stunt driver was left without a car and had trouble with the police after trying to show off at a car meet.
The driver was harmed while trying to demonstrate his driving skills to other petrolheads at a car meet in Hampshire by performing a burnout – turning the wheels of his stationary car until they smoked.
Officials from the Hampshire Roads Policing Unit revealed the unfortunate outcome for the driver in a winking post on their Twitter feed on Sunday evening (September 5th).
They wrote: “If you go to a car meeting and decide to burn out, let us know and we will pick up your car and save you the fuel for the drive home.
“Especially if you have already received a warning about unsocial vehicle use. #notworththerisk # SgtChris3453 # 27535. “

The post office, which did not provide the exact location of the incident, was accompanied by photos of the crime scene in a shopping mall parking lot – and of the car in question being loaded onto a van to be driven away.
