A Tesla dashcam recorded an elderly woman closing the car several times after fighting over the parking lot.

The owner of the Tesla, Amanda Aubin, can be seen in the footage parked in a location in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is followed by a red vehicle driven by a woman in a pink shirt who gets out when Aubin snatches the parking lot.

Later, the woman in the pink shirt with black face mask walks past Aubin’s Tesla and keys the side of the vehicle. The woman comes back a minute later and scratches the door with the key again.

The dashcam records the woman who closed the Tesla door three times on September 22nd.

Aubin was aware that the woman who closed her Tesla was after the parking lot.

“You know, we both gave a sign and I got there first, as it looks. And I just stopped and she parked elsewhere, ”Aubin told WAFB. ‘Well, I thought, okay, no problem.’

Aubin, who had an appointment at a clinic, returned 45 minutes after meeting the older-looking woman and found “pretty deep cuts” and $ 7,650 damage on her Tesla.

“It’s petty and childish. I mean, that comes from a grown woman. I am a grown woman. That’s ridiculous. I mean, she could have just left me a message if she was so mad at me, ”said Aubin.

“Encrypting someone’s car is crazy. The fact that I didn’t think she knew it was being recorded. But all of that will be handed over to the police. ‘

Aubin has already filed a complaint.

The apparent revenge incident was captured thanks to Aubin’s Tesla in “Sentry Mode”, a feature that monitors suspicious activity around the car while it is parked. The car detects suspicious movement using the front, rear, right and left door cameras and warns the owner.

When a “significant threat” is detected, the Tesla’s cameras start recording, an alarm is activated and the owner receives a notification via the Tesla app.

The identity of the woman who closed Aubin’s car was not disclosed.
