A car was thrown on its side and a main road was closed after an accident.
Emergency services were called to Formby Bypass tonight (Monday October 11) to report a crash.
Merseyside Police and Merseyside Fire Department participated in the crash that occurred between Lady Green Garden Center and Ince Woods.

Pictures show a car that has been turned on its side on the grass bank.
Police blocked the bypass in both directions while rescue workers handled the incident.
The North West Ambulance Service was also present in the crash, but it is unclear whether anyone was injured.
