Travis singer Fran Healy says there was “so much blood” after he was “mangled” by a runaway sausage dog he tried to save from a car accident.
The musician said it happened in Los Angeles – where he lives now – and that he had to go to the hospital bleeding.
Healy described the bizarre incident on Twitter next to a picture of his injured hand.
He said he jumped out of his car after seeing three other vehicles “unfolded” near his home and seeing a Daschund “run out of chaos”.

“Cars are bombing down our hill and it would have been toast. So I tried to pick it up and it tore the shit out of my left hand.
“I held on, hoping to toss it on our porch, but then I slipped and it’s gone,” Healy said.
The 48-year-old said a neighbor called an ambulance but a fire truck “loaded with 5 Calvin Klein models” showed up and suggested going to the emergency room.
Healy – one of whose hits with his band Travis is Why Does It Always Rain On Me? and Sing – tweeted that doctors had cleaned his finger but that it was “bloody sore.”

The star added, “The dog … is fine. He was cornered at the bottom of the hill and the owner who lives in Stevie Nick’s old house (pop picker) has been reunited.”
