A car was hydroplaned on the A30 in Honiton when heavy rain lashed Devon and Cornwall.
The two vehicle accident happened tonight as the Met Office is warning drivers to prepare for road spraying and localized surface water flooding that evening.
A yellow rain warning from the Met Office is in place until tomorrow morning, with further treacherous conditions expected overnight.
The Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team informed the public about the accident in Honiton and tweeted: “Two vehicles collide on the A30 #Honiton – vehicle has lost aquaplaning and control.
“Expect delays while victims are sighted and recovery arrives.”
