A man has been arrested following an accident involving two cars on a busy Glasgow motorway.
After the collision near Dumbreck Road around 3 p.m., rescue workers rushed to the scene of the accident on the M77.
Photos shared on the internet showed two police cars and one police car at the scene of the accident, which resulted in two lanes being closed and vehicles being overtaken on the hard shoulder.
There’s also a silver car across the street.

There should have been no serious injuries in the crash.
According to the Traffic Scotland Twitter account, the incident was clear around 3:40 p.m.
A police spokesman for Scotland said: “We were called around 3pm on a report of a two car accident on the M77 southbound near junction one.
