Scottish boy stamped a 13-year-old school girl on the head in a shocking attack on a hotel parking lot

A sheriff ordered that a female thug who kicked a schoolgirl on the head must be brought to justice so that she could hear the details of her crime.

During a video link from the Polmont Young Offenders’ Institution to a hearing to be convicted, Tania Smart repeatedly fiddled with a remote control, interrupted it and turned the sound down.

Smart, 20, attacked the girl, then only 13, at the beginning of the year in a parking lot behind the historic Golden Lion Hotel in Stirling.

Smart – who was on the loose with 10 bail orders at the time – then repeatedly hit and kicked her and stomped on her head and body.

Smart from Stirling pleaded guilty via the video link to the Falkirk Sheriff Court of trading with others and of attacking the girl in mortal danger.

The incident occurred on January 21st.

The victim, who cannot be named by name for legal reasons, sat with her parents on the public platform to hear the case.

However, the case had to be closed due to Smart’s behavior.

District Attorney Katie Cunningham told Sheriff Maryam Labaki, “There is CCTV [of the incident] and I think it is important that your ladyship sees this. “

Miss Cunningham, Assistant Secretary of the Treasury, said Smart has been on custody and indictment on Jan.

Miss Cunningham said, “The location is the public parking lot behind the Golden Lion Hotel.

“The victim was 13 at the time, traveling with friends and meeting other girls in King’s Park in Stirling. The victim had an argument with one of them that led to a riot.

“The other girl then contacted the defendant …”

But while the prosecutor was speaking, Smart began pushing buttons on a remote control in the prison’s video link room.

She said, “It’s too loud, I turned it down. I apologize. I just don’t want to hear it because I’m actually horrified at myself.

“I’ve heard it before.”

Sheriff Labaki told Smart, “This is extremely serious business. You speak throughout the crown and tell the facts on this case where you plead guilty. You need to sit calmly and respectfully.

“The victim and her family are on trial. Such charges are not uncommon in the High Court.”

The sheriff added, “I will not allow prosecutors to proceed while Miss Smart talks about you.”

Sheriff Labaki went on to take Smart to court and physically appear in the dock.

She said to Smart’s attorney, Paul Lynch, “I’m not going to step forward to take the path of disdain for the court – but that’s borderline.

“I think this case should call in person, not WebEx (video link).”

The sentence was postponed until November 10 to allow the guards to personally take Smart to court to learn the facts.
