The family of a man from south London who died in a tragic car accident on Halloween (October 31) said he was a “blessing” to everyone he met.
Douglas Tandoh, 26, was killed in the early hours of Sunday morning in Dorset when the car he was a passenger in collided with a tree that had blown into the street as a result of a storm.
The driver of the car remains in critical condition in the hospital.

After the tragic death of Douglas, his 28-year-old brother Samuel tries to put his legacy together and build something tangible for the future through a fundraiser.
The two brothers grew up together in Elephant and Castle and produced YouTube videos and raps together.

Speaking to MyLondon, Samuel said that the things they still had to do together made losing his brother even more painful.
He said, “He was my brother, every second of my life we lived together.
“It was terrible, we live together, do everything together, we always took care of each other. It’s not the same, I always think he’ll come and work for me – but not anymore.
“He was a content creator, he didn’t take it too seriously and helped his friends with all of their projects. He was like a blessing to everyone – everything he touched turned to gold. “
“My mother shouldn’t have to bury her son”

Since the tragic news, Douglas’ family has struggled to come to terms with his loss.
The process was particularly tough for the brothers’ parents.
Samuel said, “He was too young. We called him Junior because he was the youngest.
“My father is still in pain, but he’s trying his best. My mother doesn’t take it easy, she cries every night and doesn’t sleep.
“She keeps saying, ‘Douglas keeps waking me up.’ She wanted her child to bury her, not her own child to bury.
“If the funding could help her with therapy, it would really help her too.”
