A teenager has been hospitalized in Middlesbrough after a car accident.
Cleveland Police were called to a collision between a qashqai and a young girl at the intersection of Trimdon Avenue and Acklam Road at 7:40 a.m. Friday.
Officials confirmed the boy was being rushed to hospital by the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS).

A NEAS spokesman said: “We received a call this morning at 7:37 am with reports of a road collision with a pedestrian and a vehicle at the A1032 junction with Trimdon Avenue in Middlesbrough.
“We sent a paramedic and an ambulance, and a teenage patient was taken to James Cook Hospital for further treatment.”
The investigation into the crash continues.
