Part of the M25 was blocked this afternoon after a collision between two cars.
The accident happened today around 12.30 p.m. just across the border in Kent at exit 2 of the A2 Darenth Interchange, near Dartford Crossing (Sunday 7 November).
It affected traffic on the counterclockwise carriageway as a traffic jam backed up to Exit 4 for Orpington.

The exit to the interchange and the A2 motorway towards London were closed, but reopened at around 2:45 p.m.
It was assumed that rescue workers were on site and asked for an opinion.
It follows yesterday’s closure of the QE2 bridge to Kent from Essex following a “police incident”.
