Police have issued a statement following a sudden death near a downtown parking garage.
Emergency services – including the ambulance – were brought to the crime scene near the multi-story parking lot of the Potteries Center in Hanley at around 12:30 p.m.
Potteries Way was closed in both directions from the junction on Quadrant Road to the roundabout at the end of Waterloo Road.

And traffic was diverted along Bryan Street.
Several police officers remain in the area and the ambulance was filmed as it landed near the crime scene.
However, the officials say there are no suspicious circumstances.
A Staffordshire Police spokeswoman said: “This is a non-suspicious sudden death.”
