Significant delays occurred on the A1 (M) near Peterborough due to a traffic collision.
The incident caused delays in both directions between the Alwalton / Showground exit and Norman Cross.
On the northbound lanes there were delays of 18 minutes and increasing, while in the south there were delays of eight minutes.
The incident also affected the A15 towards Hampton, where traffic was delayed by nine minutes.
People were advised to avoid the area.
