An accident on the A14 near Newmarket between a truck and a car resulted in a ten-kilometer traffic jam.
The accident occurred on the A14 eastbound from exit 37 A142 Fordham Road (Newmarket / Exning) to exit 38 A11.
There are traffic jams until Exit 36 (Nine Mile Hill). Traffic is very slow even through Newmarket.
One lane was previously closed and all lanes were held towards Bury St. Edmunds for approximately 20 minutes at around 2:20 pm.
The journey time is one hour and 5 minutes.
The emergency service was contacted for further information.
