Americans have a big problem with electric cars

OC & C surveyed over 7,500 global car buyers between December and January and points out that its study did not receive any third-party funding. The Biden administration is aiming to increase subsidies for the purchase of electric vehicles, but nothing has been finalized yet. Still, this should be excellent news for automakers like GM, Volvo, and others committed to an all-electric future. Tesla, already the world’s most valuable automaker, is reportedly considering a new $ 25,000 entry-level model to expand its customer base, though that might only be possible for China.

The survey also found that in the UK, France and Italy, more than half of consumers said they were considering a battery electric motor as their next car.
