One man says he was lucky enough to be alive after a car pulled off a busy road and entered his shop.
On Monday afternoon, Ludham’s Roger Lee was testing one of his motorcycles when he was told that a driver had lost control of his vehicle and crashed into his store on Johnson Road, A1062.

Just minutes earlier, Mr. Lee, 61, had decided to take a motorcycle test ride.
That decision may have saved his life.
Mr. Lee said, “I’m a little shaken by this.

“I feel a little stressed because I could have been in the office – it was just a coincidence that I went out when I did.
“I couldn’t believe it when I heard the news.”
The vehicle crashed through the side of Beasty Bikes Motorcycles and through the office where Mr. Lee had been minutes before the incident.

Mr Lee’s business, Beasty Bikes Motorcycles, is currently closed as his garage is considered structurally unsafe.
“I’m devastated,” added Mr. Lee.
“This is the end of my existence for the time being.
“I turn customers away at the moment when I wish I didn’t have to.”
Police have locked the vehicle and put a temporary traffic light on Johnson Road A1062 near Ludham Bridge.

It is unclear when Mr. Lee’s store will reopen.
Mr. Lee, who has run the workshop for ten years, said the road is often a problem.
“The road is very busy – especially given the influx of vacationers right now,” Lee said.
“It is worrying to hear trucks go by at high speed.

“Right after that, I’m a little restless.”
Mr. Lee is currently waiting for civil engineers to evaluate the property and how best to move the car.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called to Johnson Street in Ludham at around 5:40 pm on Monday after reports of a collision.
“Two ambulances were present and two patients were taken to James Paget University Hospital for further examination and care.”

Due to the collision, the road is currently temporarily set with traffic lights.
A Norfolk County Council spokesman said: “Emergency repairs are being carried out on Johnson Road due to a vehicle accident.
“For reasons of motorway safety, a permit for temporary two-way traffic lights has been put into operation.”
Roger Lee, 61, is unable to work due to the damage to his workshop.
