Police stopped a vehicle after noticing that it “wobbled visibly” as it was moving, with all but one mother missing one of its wheels.
The driver was driving from Preston to Manchester when North West Motorway Police officers ordered them to stop.
Upon further investigation, the officers found that a wheel was missing a number of nuts.

One wheel was missing five out of six wheel nuts, and the driver was asked to arrange for it to be recovered.
The driver was then issued a traffic offense report (TOR) and a driving ban notice.

North West Motorway Police tweeted the incident along with a picture of the vehicle and said, “This vehicle was stopped by # ME21 because the wheel was visibly wobbling.
“The driver drove from Preston to Manchester with 5 missing wheel nuts!
“TOR and prohibition notice issued. The driver has arranged a recovery to solve the problem. “
