COUPLES in the area are invited to raise funds for the local autism charity Daisy Chain for a chance to win their dream wedding.
The entire multi-thousand pound wedding package was provided by local businesses and will be housed at the Hardwick Hall Hotel.
To have a chance to win, entrants must collect a minimum of £ 1,000 on the Stockton-based Daisy Chain to be eligible for a ticket to the wedding prize drawing.
It is up to the couples how to raise funds, but participants will receive a donation package with ideas and tips.
The wedding package includes the Hardwick Hall Hotel venue in Sedgefield with catering and overnight accommodation, as well as the Ramside Estates bridal breakfast.
This also includes the wedding dress, the groom suit, flowers, photography, wedding cars and much more.
Neeraj Sharma, Daisy Chain General Manager, said, “After a turbulent year for weddings with many couples forced to cancel or cut their plans, we wanted to help a couple from the northeast win a dream day.
“The demand for weddings will increase in 2021, as will the costs.
“For many people, the skyrocketing prices are simply not affordable.
“This competition gives people the chance to win their dream day and raise important funds for our charity.
“I would like to personally thank each of the great local companies that have come together to help us deliver this fantastic wedding package. Special thanks, however, to Ramside Estates for offering the beautiful venue at the Hardwick Hall Hotel.
“The funds raised will be reinvested in our services here at Daisy Chain to provide much-needed support and advice to people with autism and their families.
“Now more than ever, we need to find innovative ways to generate income and this was definitely an off-the-shelf idea.”
