In Llanelli, a child died after an accident involving two cars.
The collision occurred on Friday evening around 9 p.m. at the Heol Goffa intersection and involved a blue 3 Series BMW and a blue Vauxhall Vectra.
The child was not identified at the time, but the police confirmed that they died as a result of the accident. Specialized officers from the Dyfed-Powys Police Department are currently assisting the affected family.
A woman who was traveling to the child in a separate car was arrested on suspicion of homicide from dangerous driving and remains in police custody.
