Patrick Feeney married the love of his life, Claire Hegarty, at the stunning Sligo wedding venue, Markree Castle.
The 17th-century castle is one of the largest privately-owned castles in Ireland and stands on a secluded 500-acre estate of scenic countryside.
The country singer chose to have their wedding at the stunning venue last month and spoke to RSVP Magazine about the husband and wife team who manage the castle and made sure their day went off without a hitch
“The castle was beautiful and the staff really looked after us. I want to give a special word of thanks to Deirdre and Nicholas at Markree Castle, they looked after us really well,” said Patrick to RSVP Magazine.

“They’re a husband and wife team and they just do it do well,” Claire added.
Speaking about the morning of their wedding, Claire chose to get ready at the castle with her bridal party.
“It was a lovely relaxed morning. It was just easier for the bridal party to travel there that morning so we could all get ready together,” the bride said.
“I had my mum, my niece Amber and my two bridesmaids, then the makeup artist and hairdresser came to us so it just took the stress out of the morning,” she added.
“We got some lovely pictures there, we had a room to the front of the castle, the sunlight was beaming in, it was a lovely frosty morning, you could hear the birds chirping, it was just really nice”.
Meanwhile, Patrick got ready at their home in Gurteen with his groomsmen, who were decked out in Herbie Frogg suits by Lavin’s Menswear in Ballymote.
Speaking of everything that went into planning their big day, Patrick and Claire said it was their stand out suppliers that made the whole process so special.
Patrick gushed: “The people we worked with were professionals, they made it easy for us. There was nothing we could fault on the day, everyone who had a job did it well from the flowers to the castle to the cars. Everything was just perfect”.
