The investigation continues after six children and one adult were hit by a car in Ardingly, Sussex.
Emergency services were called to College Road just after 4:30 p.m. on Monday, August 16. Five children and one adult were hospitalized by the South East Coast Ambulance, three of them in serious condition.
One patient is in critical condition and was transported by ambulance to St. Georges Hospital in London.

A blue Tesla was towed by a recovery vehicle at the scene of the accident.
A statement from the Sussex Police Department said: “This is an ongoing matter and no further information is available at this time. Anyone who has seen what happened is asked to contact the police online or by calling 101, quoting the serial number 980 from 16/08. “
