Part of the A38 was closed this evening (October 15) after an accident involving a car with a trailer.
The Devon and Cornwall Police Force Incident Manager has said there has been a collision with a single vehicle near Deep Lane, Plympton.
He added that there were two occupants in the vehicle but they were slightly injured.
The main disturbance is due to the debris on the road and the fire department has been called for help.
The road is currently being cleared.
Traffic monitoring website Inrix says the A38 going west between Deep Lane and Marsh Mills has been closed.
