A suspected drunk driver was charged with manslaughter after a mother and daughter were killed in a terrible accident on a highway in Queens.
Diana Granobles, 31, was driving her daughter, Isabella, 10, to pick up her husband from work around 8:45 p.m. on Saturday when another car crashed into her.
Granobles turned left as Tyrone Absolam, 42, shot into her car with his 2018 Nissan Altima – he ground the front and back of his car and destroyed the entire passenger side of her 2019 Chevrolet Cruze.
Police found Granobles, who lived in the Long Island hamlet of Copiague, and her daughter passed out with severe trauma. You were pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital.

Debris could be seen across Guy R. Brewer and Rockaway Boulevards just outside the John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens, where Granobles’ husband works as an aircraft mechanic.
Police officers told DailyMail.com that Absolam and his 38-year-old girlfriend had been rushed to the Jamaica Hospital and were still listed in critical condition on Sunday. His nameless friend sat in his passenger seat.
His girlfriend’s two children, a 12-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl, who were in the back of Absolam’s car were taken to Cohen Children’s Medical Center by ambulance and are in grave but stable condition, police officers told DailyMail .com with.
Absolam has been charged with manslaughter, negligent homicide, negligent homicide, assault and drinking, among other charges. He lives about a mile from the scene of the accident.
Sources told the New York Daily News that investigators are still waiting for lab results to officially determine if his blood alcohol level has exceeded the legal limit.

Granobles and her husband Lorozano Granobles immigrated to the Big Apple from Colombia when they were 18.

The couple married in 2008 and have two other children together – a six-year-old girl and a three-year-old boy – who are currently in Colombia, the Daily News reported.
“They were like the American Dream,” said Brittany Acensio, 24, a relative of Granobles’ husband.
“We just want justice,” she added. “We don’t want that to happen to others.”
Lorozano’s brother Jonathan Granobles said of PIX 11: “I will do without my niece, my sister-in-law. You will never be with us again. ‘
“We’re going to try and make him pay for killing her,” said Jonathan Granobles.
In interviews with the New York Post, neighbors described the Granobles family as “peaceful, loving people.”
“Never drama, a sweet, loving family,” said Amelia Dawson, who lives next door.
“The little girl was always out in the back playing with her family on the trampoline.”
NYPD data shows that at least 144 people were killed in car accidents in New York in June.
