A confident mother was furious when she received a note under her windshield wiper requesting that she close her blinds when her neighbor said her children would “not want to see you go out”.
Alex Taylor was stunned when she went to her car at 8:30 a.m. to find the prudish ticking off after she was spotted in her underwear in the window of her home in Chelmsford, Essex on Saturday night, apparently in her underwear.
The mother of two had thrown a T-shirt over her panties while locking her door and turning off the lights around 10:30 p.m. before going to bed – and apparently had an angry audience.
But the cheeky note encouraged the auto sales manager instead to strut around in her underwear with the blinds open more often in the privacy of her own four walls.
The note reads, “It would be greatly appreciated if you could deflate [sic] close your blinds when you go naked Around your house … my kids don’t want and don’t want to see your ass out on the street [sic] Show. Much appreciated your neighbors [sic]. “

Alex said, “It’s the most bizarre thing that has ever happened to me, I’m stuck.
“I didn’t run around naked. I was wearing a t-shirt and French panties – they covered a lot of my bum.
“To be honest, they’re lucky because I usually run around a lot less. I just walked around like I usually do, locked up and all the lights off.
“You’re lucky you caught me pretty much covered up on this occasion.
“I feel very comfortable in my skin, I have no problem with how I look.

“I’m not sure how they were raised to think this was a problem, but also to think that it is okay to look at someone else’s home and tell me how to dress .
“At first I was really shocked and then so mad about it. I was so mad that someone supposed to be my neighbor had the audacity to go to the trouble of leaving a note on my windshield instead of just knocking on it Door and confronted me with it.
“The fact that they had to leave a note on my car instead of confronting me face to face shows that they weren’t very confident in their reasoning.
“Maybe they’re just not confrontational, but when I have a problem I like to tell someone in the face.”
Stunned, Alex shared the note on social media and was inundated with comments from people appalled by the neighbor.
One woman commented, “I would literally wait for it to get dark, turn on all the lights, go into every room and press my buttocks against every goddamn window while“ Baby got back ”is running at full blast!

Alex said the note didn’t stop her from wearing her things in her underwear in the future.

Alex said, “It’s my house, it’s my rules. It absolutely won’t stop me from walking around my own home in my underwear and a t-shirt.
“Now I feel even more validated by the girls who showed their support. Some of the comments got me down.”
