A driver was reportedly dragged out of his car and stabbed to death in a shocking incident in Stockton.
Police are asking witnesses or anyone with footage to contact them following the alleged attack in Ibstone Walk, Stockton, at around 9:05 a.m. on Saturday, July 24th.
Two men are said to have approached a Ford Fiesta, dragged the driver out of the vehicle and walked away in it.
The 62-year-old driver suffered a stab wound and was taken to North Tees University Hospital for treatment before being transferred to James Cook University Hospital.
His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Two men, aged 23, were charged with willful assault, robbery and possession of a sharp or sounding object in a public place.
One man was also charged with driving in a dangerous manner.
The Ford Fiesta was recovered by the police. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Stockton CID at 101.
