YourParkingSpace.co.uk and Hiyacar have created a new car club with access to a vehicle from £ 3 an hour.
While it’s still in the pilot phase at five locations, the goal is to roll out the car club across the UK over the next year, with YourParkingSpace.co.uk’s network of 65,000 parking spaces having the potential to house cars.
Harrison Woods, CEO of YourParkingSpace.co.uk said: “This is a brand new company for YourParkingSpace.co.uk and by working closely with Hiyacar it has the potential to massively expand car sharing in the UK.
“The benefits for customers, both individuals and businesses, are that they can register with the car club incredibly quickly and then book cars from as little as £ 3 an hour.
“In addition, cars can be booked for just an hour or as long as the customer wants, without being tied to the conditions of traditional car ownership.
“And we’ve already found that having a car on the doorstep is very helpful for our home owners who normally don’t own a car, while our commercial customers often want to offer rental cars to their guests and customers. ”
Currently cars can be booked for £ 3 an hour, £ 29 per day or £ 144 per week.

Members of the YourParkingSpace.co.uk car club can make bookings at www.hiyacar.co.uk. Current locations include the Holiday Inn Express Bicester, Republic London, Tesco Brixton, The Mall Maidstone and Premier Inn London Hampstead. The cars must be returned to their original location.
