Dashcam provider Nextbase has launched auto insurance called Nextbase Insurance Services, which gives its customers access to discounted auto insurance premiums.
So far, 57.3% of customers have saved more than 30% when taking out fully comprehensive car insurance through Cornmarket Insurance Services (based on the premiums paid against ABI numbers for the third quarter of 2020).
Drivers with dashcams benefit from being able to present video evidence to their insurer in the event of a claim to prove that they are not at fault, which, according to Nextbase, can contribute to claims processing up to twenty times faster.
Nextbase’s research also shows that dashcam insurance owners drive 33% safer, according to telematics assessment.
Bryn Booker, Director of Marketing at Nextbase, said: “Building on our partnerships with a select group of insurers who offer Dashcam discounts to Nextbase customers, we have now created a new type of auto insurance for our dashcam drivers to take advantage of their car insurance that they really deserve to drive safer. “
Customers with a full no-claims discount (nine years) can also fix their insurance price for three years with a guaranteed premium and payment options over 36 months.
