Police blocked a road in Rochdale after a car crashed into a canal.
Canal Street in Littleborough was closed near the Waterside pub around 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
Several witnesses report seeing a car in the water on the Rochdale Canal near Littleborough Railway Station.
Pictures from the crime scene show a police car blocking the road.

The Greater Manchester Police Department has been asked for a comment.
