Police cordon off the street in Collier Row after a man is found dead in a car

In Romford, officials blocked a street after a man was found dead in a car.

The Met Police were called to Charlotte Gardens in Collier Row, Greater London at around 1 p.m. this afternoon (Monday July 26) after reports of a man in a car went unresponsive.

Unfortunately, one man was later pronounced dead at the scene.

A Met Police spokesman said: “Police were called just before 1:00 pm on Monday, July 26th, after reports of an unresponsive man in a car in Charlotte Gardens, Romford.

“The police and the London Ambulance Service were present.

“Unfortunately, a 39-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

“His next of kin know.
