Police released an update on the accident in which a car fell on the sidewalk in Bedford yesterday (September 4th).
The car overturned on Dame Alice Street in Bedford, Bedfordshire at around 4:30 p.m. after being involved in an accident with another car.
A silver car lay on the sidewalk and the street on its side after the incident, and a green car was behind it.

An elderly man was able to get out of the vehicle before being treated by the ambulance service.

Fortunately, he wasn’t significantly injured in the crash.
The street was cordoned off by police at the intersection of St. Peters Street, High Street and The Broadway.
Bedfordshire Police made a statement on Twitter last night: “Today officials from the team helped in a collision near the city center. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.”

Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service also issued a statement stating: “We were called to the incident by the police at 4:28 pm to attend a two car incident on Dame Alice Street in Bedford. We sent three devices and a rescue unit to the incident.
“One of the cars was lying on its side and an elderly man had freed the vehicle himself before the fire brigade arrived. The fire brigade carried out the trauma treatment and handed the patient over to the emergency services.”
