Ronaldo’s £ 220,000 car waited seven hours for gas but left the garage with nothing

Cristiano Ronaldo’s employees waited almost seven hours at a gas station yesterday to refuel his 220,000-pound Bentley – but to no avail.

The footballer’s car was spotted on a gasoline truck in a garage near Manchester for more than six hours on Wednesday afternoon.

Witnesses said the Bentley Flying Spur stopped around 2:20 p.m., but at 9 p.m. its driver noticed that no tanker had arrived with a delivery and left the forecourt empty-handed.

Ronaldo – who reportedly moved into a £ 3million Cheshire home – was nowhere to be seen.

One viewer told the Mancheser Evening News: “Even with all of Ronaldo’s money, he’s in the same boat as the rest of us.

“His security waited for hours, of course in the hope that a tanker would arrive at some point, but they were forced to leave.”

Obviously, the disappointment didn’t affect Ronaldo’s mood.

The 36-year-old scored a decisive victory in the Champions League at Old Trafford in stoppage time for United on Wednesday night.

And on Thursday morning he was spotted training in a Porsche – one of his many other luxury cars.

The UK government said today it anticipates the country’s fuel crisis to ease.

It is believed that less than a third of gas stations are now affected by bottlenecks, compared to around 60 percent on weekends.

Treasury Secretary Simon Clarke has insisted that the fuel supply situation is “back under control” and that more fuel is being delivered to gas stations than is being sold.

Speaking to Sky’s Kay Burley, he said the situation will “continue to relax” if people “just go back to normal habits”.

“We are confident that the situation will continue to improve,” he added.

Mayor Andy Burnham also said he had been told that the situation in Greater Manchester was “not as bad” as in other parts of the country.
