Police have cordoned off Bellevue Terrace from the Kent Road intersection because of the incident involving a Ford and another vehicle.
A Hampshire Police spokesman said: “We were called at 2:27 pm about a collision with a car and a minibus. The car caught fire. Officers participated, along with the fire and rescue services. ‘
