The parents of a missing Runcorn man, last seen in North Wales over a week ago, believe their son stopped to change a wheel on his car before disappearing.
Jamie Grimwood, 23, was last seen near an ATS repair shop on Chester Road in Flint on Monday, August 23rd at 7:42 pm.
His dark gray Audi was found nearby, his phone was inside, but there was no indication of where he might have gone.

Minutes earlier, CCTV had been filming in a shop on neighboring Connah’s Quay and his bank card was used to buy a bottle of water.
He wore a black top, sneakers and shorts, and the bank card has not been used since.
Jamie is said to have been alone.
His parents Lee, 45, and Jacqui, 42, told ECHO that Jamie’s car had a problem with the brakes and he may have bought the water to cool it off.
They believe he stopped to change his bike, which he failed at first but eventually succeeded, and that anyone who saw him working on the bike could have information about where he was going.

A large family-run search has been underway in the area since father Jamie went missing, with Lee and Jacqui combed the area “every day,” including door-to-door.
The couple hope residents in and around Flint can aid the search by looking in places that may be inaccessible to visitors and Jamie’s family, such as behind houses.
A dedicated Facebook page “Finding Jamie Grimwood” has also been set up to gather information and details on potential CCTV camera footage and to coordinate the tracking of the searched areas.
It also described Jamie as “a kind, caring, amazing person” and anyone who sees him has been encouraged to approach him and ask for a picture to either confirm he is safe or someone to exclude.

North Wales Police made an appeal on Jamie’s whereabouts late August 24th, reporting that officials had “concerns” about the 23-year-old, believed to be in the Flint area and described as five feet tall and slim .
Jacqui told ECHO that Jamie’s disappearance was untypical and “like he literally disappeared” as he always stayed in touch wherever he was.
She said, “His bank card was not used.
“He bought a bottle of water in the garage with it.
“He had a problem with his car, he had a problem with his brakes.
“On video surveillance, he showed him trying whatever to do to take the bike off.
“We assume he bought a bottle of water to brake.
“Somebody must have seen him change his bike – he actually changed his bike.”
She added, “He’s never done anything like this before.
“No matter where he goes, he always said ‘I’ll be here, then with Costa’.
“His cell phone was left in the car.
“The police got all of his data on his cell phone and nothing came back.”
