The police are dealing with several traffic crimes in which a car was confiscated

Devon and Cornwall Police have dealt with a number of road traffic offenses on the A38 today (Thursday 18th November).

There have been several speed limit violations in zones between Tideford and Saltash with a speed of 80 km / h.

One driver also had an illegal tire, which made driving extremely dangerous.

The police stopped an Astra in Landrake and found that it had been “untaxed” since 2019.

After inspecting the vehicle, they discovered that the fuel was red diesel.

The car was then confiscated on behalf of HMRC and DVLA.

The driver’s insurance was canceled in July and the insurance company wrote to him several times to inform him.

The “Operation Tutelage” wrote to them that the vehicle was not insured.

However, the driver ignored this and is now threatened with a hefty fine.

The vehicle was confiscated due to automatic license plate recognition.

In a statement from the Devon and Cornwall Police, they confirmed that the driver had been reported for the crime.

You should also expect six points on your license and a £ 300 fine.
