A truck and car collision caused major disruption on the M1 in Leicestershire tonight.
There have been reports of four miles of traffic jams on the south lane of the freeway as a result of the accident.
Traffic website Inrix announced that a lane between Exit 23 for Loughborough and Exit 22 for Markfield and Coalville was closed when emergency services looked into the incident.
The travel time through the scene of the accident was around 15 minutes.
