Dozens of heartfelt tributes have been paid to a “one-of-a-kind” motor enthusiast after he suddenly passed away at the age of just 30.
Lindsey Page was a co-founder of the Car Club Scotland, which now has almost 2,000 members from all over the country who gather to showcase their vehicles.
The group members were invited to his funeral in Leven on August 30, where they were asked to sound their loud exhausts and turn their engines in his memory.

Broken hearted friends have also arranged a car rally to commemorate the “very beloved man who will be greatly missed” on October 16 at the Saltire Center in Glenrothes, Fife.
In homage to Lindsey, the group said: “Due to the recent passing of our beloved co-founder Lindsey Page, we have decided to postpone this date and hold it in his memory.
“Lindsey was an avid auto enthusiast and loved a car meet so we’re going to hold this for him.
“We hope that all of you can join us in saying our own version of saying goodbye to a man who will be greatly missed by everyone, especially us here at CCS.”
An obituary for Lindsey reads: “Suddenly but peacefully on Friday, August 6th, 2021, at Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy.
“Lindsey, 30 years old, a loving and beloved son of Diane and Lindsey, a ‘unique’ brother of John and Justin, brother-in-law of Gemma and Bobbie, special grandson of Linda and Bill, fond uncle of Tyler, Jayden, Kai, Sophia , Miley and Katie, special friends of many and co-founders of Car Club Scotland.
“Lindsey is sorely missed by everyone. The funeral will take place on Monday, August 30th at 1:30 p.m. in Scoonie Cemetery, to which all family members and friends are respectfully invited.
“Lindsey is forever loved for his wicked sense of humor, loving personality, and always telling it ‘exactly as it is’.”
