Police blocked a city street after a woman was hit by a car.
There is a large cordon in front of the entrance to the Kaplan Living Liverpool building at the top of Smithdown Lane.
The student accommodation is located near the University of Liverpool campus on Grove Street.

Photos show a large presence of emergency services at the scene this afternoon with police cars lining the street.
Merseyside Police confirmed officers were called to the scene after a blue Ford Zetec was reportedly involved in a collision with a pedestrian.
